1) Install XDelta on your linux distribution (for example, on Debian, you just have to do : apt-get install xdelta3)

2) Put the original japanese iso and the patch in the same directory (not mandatory but it's easier, you won't have to write the fullpatch of each file this way).

3) Use the following command : xdelta3 -d -s "name-of-the-japanese-iso" patch "name-of-the-patch" "name-of-the-english-iso" (for example : xdelta3 -d -s psgen2-jp.iso PSGEN2-US_Beta_Version.xdelta3 psgen2-us.iso). For more informations about the use of xdelta use, you can type : xdelta3 --help

4) You'll get an english patched iso ("PSGEN2-US_Beta_Version.iso"), that you can either use with a PS2 emulator or either burn it on a disc to use it on your PS2 system (if your PS2 can read burned games). If you choose to burn it, remember this is a CD game so you need to burn it on a CD, not on a DVD.

Note : Be sure to use Xdelta3 (there are several versions, like a 1.x one for example, and this patch is only compatible with the 3.x versions)
